Stars in the Service Archive

"Stars in the Service" was a local magazine launched during World War II, created specifically for the men and women from Bethlehem, Fountain Hill, Hellertown, Freemansburg, and nearby areas who were serving in the Armed Forces. It featured entirely original content, with no advertising or syndicated material, and operated without a paid subscription list. The publication relied on the contributions and support of family members, loved ones, and friends of the service members to sustain it. A total of twelve issues were produced before the magazine concluded its run at the war's end in 1945.

All twelve issues are offered here in PDF format. Please contact info@bapl.org with any questions.
