Banana Factory Archives

We have four photo albums collecting images of the Banana Factory's exterior and the works of art displayed there. These were taken by photographer Kim Kanuck in February 2025. 

1. Banana Factory Exterior Mosaics -  Photos of the many mosaics on the exterior of the building which were created as part of a project known as "Banana Works" around the year 2000.

2. Bus stop/sculpture by artist Mr. Imagination at the Banana Factory  - World-renowned outsider artist Mr. Imagination made his home in Bethlehem, PA in the early 2000s. He was the first Banana Factory Artist in Residence and designed a bus shelter in his iconic style with help from youth in the Pennsylvania CareerLink Program as a job skill training session. 

3. Exterior of the Banana Factory - Includes pictures of the sculpture “Joyful Experience” by Susan Small which stood near the entrance to the Banana Factory

4. Karel Mikolas Sculptures at the Banana Factory  - Includes images of the "three figures" sculptures near the entrance to the Banana Factory, which were created by Karel Mikolas in 2003.
