  The composition consists of three figures. The sculptures were created by Karel Mikolas in 2003. They were sponsored by Air Products and Chemicals, Inc.

  World-renowned outsider artist Mr. Imagination made his home in Bethlehem, PA for a few years in the early 2000s. He was the first Banana Factory Artist in Residence. The bus shelter was created along with help from youth in the Pennsylvania CareerLink Program as a job skill training session. Young artists assisted Mr. I both in designing the shelter and working the process of getting approval from Northampton Transportation Authority so it could serve as a functional bus stop.

  These pictures show the exterior of the Banana Factory as it was in February 2025. It includes pictures of the sculpture “Joyful Experience” by Susan Small which stood near the entrance to the Banana Factory. The sculpture was submitted by Susan Small for the Banana Factory’s first outdoor sculpture competition in 2002. The Puffin Foundation supported the purchase of supplies and hardware to create the sculpture and the Skrivanek Family donated the money for the fabrication of the stainless steel armature in honor of Catherine and Gustave, who had been dedicated Musikfest volunteers. One thousand rings, or “donuts”, were made with the help of family, friends, and fellow artists.
